Winterburn Psychology is a private practice that offers support to adolescents, adults, children, and families. The practice is underpinned by values for supporting neurodivergence, trauma, complex and chronic conditions, destigmatising mental health and promoting growth mindset through supported, mindful and compassionate based practices.

How long are the therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes, but the duration may vary based on individual needs and treatment plans.

Do you offer telehealth services?

Yes, we offer telehealth services for clients who prefer online therapy sessions or are unable to attend in-person appointments.

What can I expect in my first session?

In your first session, you can expect to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and to begin building a trusting and supportive relationship with your psychologist.

Do you work with NDIS participants?

Yes, we work with self-funded or plan-managed NDIS participants. Speak to your NDIA manager today to find out more or just call us to arrange an appointment.

Do I need a referral?

No, you can access psychology sessions as a self-funded client or with private health insurance (check your policy). 

Alternatively you can go to your GP and discuss your eligability for a Mental Health Care Plan where you can access 10 sessions per year through Medicare.
